Darci's position with GISA is an Internal Substitute teacher. She is a graduate of The Ohio State University with a BS in Agriculture with a major in Ag Communications and a minor in equine science. She was born and raised in Clark County, and is an FFA and 4-H alumni. She is married to husband Christian for 16 years; Christian is also in the agriculture field currently serving in the poultry industry following more than 20 years in the feed and grain industry. They have three children: Noah (an 8th grader at STEM), Nicholas (6th grade at NW), and Elena (2nd grader at NW). Their kids are avid 4-Hers and show market hogs.

Darci's hobbies include reading, writing, and traveling. Her work history includes 10+ years at Cox Media Group Ohio where she penned a weekly parenting column (Motherhood). Through their family owned company - DJ Agri-Industrial, LLC - she also currently provides writing and marketing services to Clark State Community College, the Springfield News-Sun, and Kaffenbarger’s Good Oak Farm Showpigs. She is passionate about agriculture and is looking forward to being a part of Global Impact STEM Academy!
