About Our Middle School

Innovation Meets Education

Our middle school is a dynamic learning environment where students in grades 7-8 are empowered to explore, innovate, and solve real-world problems. We believe in the power of project-based learning and hands-on activities to ignite curiosity and foster critical thinking.

Technology at Your Fingertips

Each student is equipped with MacBook Air laptops.  This 1:1 technology initiative allows students to collaborate seamlessly, research effectively, and bring their creative ideas to life. In addition, our curriculum incorporates industry-standard tools like 3D printers, CNC routers, industrial printers, and laser cutters.

A Focus on STEM and Beyond

As a STEM school, we prioritize science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Our curriculum is enriched with agriculture and bioscience components, preparing students for future careers in these vital fields.

Interdisciplinary Learning

We challenge students to think beyond traditional subject boundaries. Through cross-curricular projects and collaborative learning experiences, students learn to apply knowledge and skills from various disciplines to address complex issues.

Advisory

Advisory acts as a student's "homeroom" over the course of the year. Students will work together through developing soft skills. Students may also meet for a school program such as 4-H or FFA. Students not participating in these functions will have time to work.

Athletics

Global Impact has many students who participate in athletics at their district of residence. Students are afforded this right per Ohio Revised Code 3313.537.

6th Grade Expansion

Our new facility on Clark State’s Campus will be opening in the Fall of 2026, which means there is more room at the Dome for 6th grade!

Grades 10-12 will be located at the Clark State Campus, while grades 6-9 will be located at our current facility.

For 6th grade programming, we plan to offer the core classes of Math, Science, Social Studies, and English Language Arts as well as electives and STEM principles.
