Our GISA FFA Poultry Teams (Middle School and High School) competed at the Miami Trace Invitational this past weekend, and they did really well!

DISCLAIMER A team typically consists of 4 total scores.  Our team of 4 members is split in half this year, with 2 members having to compete at the middle school level, and 2 members competing at the high school level.  This means that both the high school and middle school teams only had 2 of the 4 members they needed, and therefore received 2 scores of "Zero" for the "missing" two teammates.  They knew prior to the competition that this would be the case, but they decided to compete anyway.  That takes guts!

Considering those zero scores as a MAJOR factor in their placing, I am pretty darn proud of these young ladies!  If you see them, tell them GREAT job!  They will be representing GISA at the State Competition during Spring Break.

Results:

Middle School Team- Placed 3rd overall, with Cami Miller having the 4th highest score, and Lily Henry having the 7th highest score.

High School Team- Placed 21st overall, with Josie Henry placing 56th and Grace Jung placing 58th.
