FFA Bike Team

Global Impact STEM Academy’s FFA chapter proudly participated in the Young's Ice Cream Charity Bike Tour (YICCBT) for the first time, supporting four outstanding local organizations: United Rehabilitation Services, South Community, Inc., The Alzheimer's Association, and Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.

After receiving a National FFA Grant, their chapter successfully organized a bike team of five students and three staff members, who took on the 21-mile ride together. Through their dedication and community support, the team raised nearly $1,500 to donate to these worthy causes.

“The Young's Ice Cream Charity Bike Tour was an incredible experience for our students. It allowed them to develop athletic skills, embrace healthy lifestyles, and give back to the community. We’re incredibly proud of the hard work they put in,” said FFA Advisor, Olivia Pflaumer.

A huge shoutout goes to the parents, staff, and supporters who helped make this event possible. Their encouragement and contributions were vital to our success. We look forward to continuing this tradition and furthering our involvement in charitable initiatives that make a difference locally.
