Daniel Stacy, Savannah Crawford, Evan Ballard, and Jason Perdue competed yesterday at the Ohio FFA Center in Columbus, Ohio, for the State FFA Agricultural Sales Contest.
As members of this team, they were asked to sell lawnmowers on behalf of John Deere to their judges, who represented the customers and had specific needs that the team was to meet with their specific product. In addition, members of the team had to complete the state test earlier in February and also be evaluated on their sales techniques and ability to communicate with and sell a product to their respective judges.
As a team, the group placed 6th in the state! They are the first Ag Sales team from Global Impact to do so and our second Ag Sales team ever! As Individuals, Savannah Crawford scored the highest for our team, placing 26th with a score of 170. Jason Perdue, Evan Ballard, and Daniel Stacy followed. This incredible team of seniors have worked diligently over the last few months and have shown what hard work, teamwork, and coordination looks like to reach their goal!
Congratulations again to all members for their hard work and effort in preparing for the contest and representing the Global Impact FFA Chapter! Thank you all for your support of the team and our FFA chapter!
