Soil Judging Team

Congratulations! 

We are proud to announce the results from this year’s county Soil Judging Contest, where 24 of our students competed! 

Urban Soil Judging Team
Our Urban Team placed 1st overall in the county, with several top individual performances. The following high school students will advance to the district contest:

  • Elise Hess (12th grade) – 1st overall in the county

  • Terra Choi (11th grade) – 2nd overall in the county

  • Dasha Kukharchuk (10th grade) – 10th overall in the county

  • Avary Snowden (11th grade) – 13th overall in the county

Rural Soil Judging Team
Our Rural Team placed 2nd overall in the county, with the following students advancing to districts:

  • Mailynne Rudnicki (10th grade) – 4th overall in the county

  • Chris Howard (10th grade) – 9th overall in the county

  • Lane Flax (9th grade) – 15th overall in the county

  • Katelyn Schantz (10th grade) – 18th overall in the county

Honorable Mention
A special recognition goes to Mathew Wilhelm (8th grade), who placed 6th overall in the county. While middle schoolers cannot advance to districts, his accomplishment deserves celebration!
